DR ALEXIS PATON
Alexis is an academic, writer, trainer and communicator. Director of the Centre for Health and Society at Aston University, she has spent the last 18 years studying how people make decisions about their health.
Alexis makes research relatable in a way that audiences can understand. With an insider's knowledge of academia, coupled with experience writing and speaking in the media, Alexis is an expert in knowledge translation, public engagement and impact work.
She has written regularly for The Independent and has appeared on radio and television, talking about all things health, society and ethics.
